Man City lead race for Espanyol youngster Mateo Fernandez

Manchester City are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Espanyol teenager Mateo Fernandez.

The 17-year-old striker has risen through the youth ranks at the Spanish outfit and now represents the Under-19 team, but hasn’t made a single appearance this season.

Manchester City have announced the signing of Ferran Torres from Valencia.

The Spain Under-21 international has put pen to a paper on a five-year deal which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2025.
