City boss Pep Guardiola has identified the England international as one of his primary summer targets, along with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
The 23-year-old Fiorentina winger only joined Juve in October 2020 on an initial two-year loan deal.
However, the Italy international has been heavily linked with a summer exit, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich expressing their interest earlier in the window.
The 26-year-old defender has made 73 appearances during his four years with City, having struggled with plenty of injuries since arriving from Monaco.
He was restricted to just 13 top flight outings during the previous campaign, and he only has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
The Norwegian’s future remains uncertain, with City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all said to be keen on the attacker, who has scored 41 goals in 41 matches across all competitions last season.
