Chelsea interested in signing Milan Skriniar?

Chelsea have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar this winter.

The Slovakia international has been a key player for the Italian outfit for many seasons, but his contract expires in June 2023.

The 27-year-old has yet to be convinced over a contract extension and TuttoSport claims that the Blues could attempt to sign him on a free transfer.


Tottenham Hotspur to make fresh bid for Milan Skriniar?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to make a new approach for Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar, who still has three years left to run on his contract.

The Premier League giants are believed to have had a bid rejected for the 25-year-old Slovakian earlier this month.

The Italian outfit supposedly wanted a fee of around £50m for the centre-back, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was only prepared to part with £30 million.

Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel is considering to leave the Merseysiders as the Slovakian is struggling to make his way back into the first-team, according to ESPN.

The 31-year-old, who has been at the Reds for the last eight years – spent almost two months on the bench with his hamstring injury, but has only managed to start one league game since the recovery.
