Chelsea join race for £70m rated Robert Lewandowski

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Blues are set for a major overhaul ahead of next season regardless of whether Antonio Conte stays or departs the Stamford Bridge.

The Polish international appears to be unhappy at the Allianz Arena and his agent Pini Zahavi is helping him try to find a new club, according to the Daily Star.


Done Deal: Wolfsburg sign Jakub Blaszczykowski from Dortmund

Wolfsburg have completed the signing of midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund on a three-year deal.

The Poland international, who joined Dortmund in 2007 has won two Bundesliga titles, two DFL-Supercups and the DFB-Pokal.

VfL have secured the services of Jakub Blaszczykowski from @BVB. Kuba has signed a deal with VfL until 2019.


Twitter reacts: Lewandowski smashes five goals in nine minutes

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski became the first man in Bundesliga history to score five goals in nine minutes after coming off the bench in club’s 5-1 rout of Wolfsburg on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old Polish striker came as a substitute and stunned last season’s German Cup winners with an incredible three goals in four minutes, starting in the 51st, to turn the game on its head at the Allianz Arena.
