Wolfsburg have completed the signing of midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund on a three-year deal.

The Poland international, who joined Dortmund in 2007 has won two Bundesliga titles, two DFL-Supercups and the DFB-Pokal.

He completed a permanent move for a reported €5m after Thomas Tuchel deemed him surplus to requirements.

The 30-year-old winger established himself as a Dortmund fan favourite during his time at the club, scoring 32 goals and 52 assists in 252 appearances for the club.

Blaszczykowski spent his last season on loan at the Italian outfit Fiorentina. However, injuries hampered his time in Serie A, though he impressed at the European championship 2016 in France.
