Done Deal: Claudio Bravo joins Manchester City

Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has completed his move to Manchester City on a four-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the 2018/19 season. The deal is thought to be around £15.4m.

“I’m very proud to be joining Manchester City. I know the club is building something very special and I hope I can be part of many successes in the coming years. I have followed City’s progress in recent years and obviously know some of my new teammates from the Copa America,” the Chilean goalkeeper told the club’s official website.

Dani Alves opts to quit Barcelona

Barcelona right-back Dani Alves will leave the club this summer, after spending eight glorious years and 23 trophies at the Camp Nou, the La Liga champions have announced.

The 33-year-old Brazilian has 12 months remaining on his current contract but has asked to leave the Catalans and has reportedly been linked with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
