The outgoing Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has reportedly emerged as a possible target to take over at Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Mirror.

Pellegrini is all set to leave the City at the end of the current season on 30 June, with the club recently confirmed the news that Bayern boss Pep Guardiola will be appointed in the summer on three year deal.

Blanc’s future at the Parc des Princes looks uncertain at the moment, but he could leave the Ligue 1 champions despite the fact that the Parisians are still unbeaten in the league this term.

However, the Chilean boss Pellegrini is said to be interested in continuing his managerial career in the English football and has even been linked with a switch to City’s rival Chelsea.

Apart from the French champions, the 62-year-old manager is also being tipped to take over at the Spanish club Valencia.
