Paul Pogba all set to play his second Man United debut against Southampton

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho impressed by the £89m signing Paul Pogba during training and has confirmed the midfielder will make his second United debut when they face Southampton on Friday.

The 23-year-old Frenchman completed his world record £89 million move to Old Trafford from Juventus ahead of this season. He is expected to play for the Red Devils on Friday night’s fixture with Southampton.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has hinted that the France international could extend his stay at Turin this summer despite speculation linking him with some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The Spanish giants Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the Frenchman, while Premier League club Manchester United have reportedly made a whopping £100m bid in an effort to lure the 23-year-old to Old Trafford.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has reportedly made Paul Pogba at his primary wish list to secure his services this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The Frenchman left the Red Devils to join Juventus in 2012, and has become one of the best midfielders in the world.
