Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck will be out of action for few months after having a knee surgery.

The England international joined the Gunners from Manchester United on deadline day in September 2014, has scored eight goals in his first 34 games for the North Londoners.

He sustained the injury to his left knee in Arsenal’s 0-0 home draw with Chelsea in late April.
