Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Manchester City centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov as Enzo Maresca considers strengthening his defensive options in January, according to Caught Offside.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a whirlwind few years since coming through Bunyodkor’s academy in Uzbekistan. He began his senior career at Belarusian outfit Energetik-BGU in 2022 before his displays in the Vysshaya Liga persuaded Ligue 1 club RC Lens to snap him up a year later.
