Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez has emerged as a summer transfer target for Atletico Madrid.
The 28-year-old, who is now approaching the final year of his contract, has failed to agree terms on a new deal with the Premier League giants and could be sold this summer.
Arsenal’s rivals Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Chile international in recent days and, according to AS, the Spanish giants Atletico have now entered the race for the midfielder’s signature.
Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has completed his move to Manchester City on a four-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the 2018/19 season. The deal is thought to be around £15.4m.
“I’m very proud to be joining Manchester City. I know the club is building something very special and I hope I can be part of many successes in the coming years. I have followed City’s progress in recent years and obviously know some of my new teammates from the Copa America,” the Chilean goalkeeper told the club’s official website.
Arsenal supporters were hugely impressed as the Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez has shown some of his best performance against Paraguay in a friendly international at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martinez Pradanos in Santiago.
