Paris Saint-Germain talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he intends to depart the club at the end of the current campaign when his current contract expires at Parc des Princes.

The 34-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital in the recent weeks, is believed to be a prime target for Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United.

He has previously revealed that he would wait until the end of the current season to re-think about his future but, the Swedish striker admits that he will make a move away from Parc des Princes in the coming months.

“For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season. I still have a month and a half left here,” he told beIN Sports, before joking: “If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, then I will stay.”

The French top flight’s leading goalscorer is also said to be interested in a move to the Major League Soccer in the United States, having previously featured for the likes of Milan, Barcelona and Ajax.

Ibrahimovic has scored 102 Ligue 1 goals in 115 appearances since joining the Parisians from Milan in 2012.
