Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger took to Instagram to express his excitement ahead of game against the defending champions Chelsea on Monday afternoon.

The Red Devils will be hoping to end a three-game losing run in the league after successive defeats by Bournemouth AFC, Norwich City and Stoke City.

United boss Louis van Gaal is facing intense speculation surrounding his future at the Old Trafford after club’s poor performance over the past couple of weeks.

However, the German international, who moved to Old Trafford in a £6.7m deal from the Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich in the summer, is excited of facing the reigning English champions at Old Trafford.

The 31-year-old veteran wrote on his Instagram account: “Excited about tomorrow’s big match against Chelsea! #mufc”
