Manchester United will look out for a striker next month

The Manchester United will be desperate to sign a highly-rated attacker in the January transfer window, in order to end their disastrous scoring form, according to ESPN FC.
After United’s Champions League exit at the hands of Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, it seems the 20-time English champions are finally ready to dip into the January market to secure their goalscoring exploits.
The pair – Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have managed to score just five league goals this term, having already shipped out Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen – the Red Devils fans will be expecting a world-class striker of proven quality at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato has already been linked with the Premier League giants by the London Evening Standard, and the fact is that the 26-year-old striker’s wanted to play in English football.
United manager Louis van Gaal may need to move quickly to add Pato, who scored 10 times in 33 games for Sao Paolo this term.
Van Gaal could be tempted to make a move for Leicester City hero Jamie Vardy, who scored 14 goals in 15 games for the Foxes in the Premier League this season. The Daily Express have reported the striker is a prime target for Man United.
