Twitter reacts: Man Utd and City both lose in UCL
Manchester United and Manchester City both have lost their openers of the Champions League group stage on Tuesday.
The Red Devils ended in a disappointing 2-1 defeat against PSV Eindhoven at Philips Stadion in Group B, while City fell to a 2-1 loss at Etihad to Italian champions Juventus in Group D.
The Premier League pair makes the night so much worse for the fans – as no side has ever won the Champions League after losing their opener.
English clubs. More money they get, the worse they get in Europe. Italians will catch us within a blink of an eye. Welcome to 3 CL places.

Failure of two Manchester clubs today, another example English clubs underperform in Europe relative to what they can spend. Doesn’t add up.
