Twitter reacts to Ivanovic’s poor show against Porto

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has shown yet another poor display for the Blues as the English club lost 2-1 against FC Porto in their 2nd Champions League group stage match at Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday night.
The out-of-form thirty one year old was not only poor defensively, but he created countless chances that failed to beat the first man, having misplaced 10 passes as well as failed to deliver a single completed cross against the current Primeira Liga leaders.
The Serbian right-back also missed a simple header as Iker Casillas was caught in no man’s land.
Here is how social media reacted to Ivanovic’s another poor night:
Either Baba Rahman is absolutely terrible (in which case why have we bought him) or Mourinho genuinely thinks Ivanović is playing well.

The definition of madness is doing the same thing over & over again and expecting different results. #CFC Playing Ivanovic. — Daniel Childs (@SonOfChelsea) September 29, 2015
Fancy coming out of retirement and playing in Ivanovic’s position, Mario? #mmlove https://t.co/5pQN5DLtXm

Don’t know what’s funnier, Mourinho still picking ivanovic or people genuinely thinking getting rid of Mourinho is a good idea — Jamal (@carefreejamal) September 29, 2015
Ivanovic having another poor game but starts and finishes the whole game… #TeachersPet

Ivanovic is a joke. — Mourinholic (@Mourinholic) September 29, 2015
Before #CFC home game Ivanovic is announced as ‘Two Goal Ivanovic’. Think that’s how opponents will announce him given how charitable he is.

Ivanovic is just getting hilarious at this moment. — #RelegationParty (@CarefreeDaily) September 29, 2015
After the Palace loss in August, I asked Pardew if he targeted Ivanovic with Zaha and Bolasie. Answer? “Yes” That’s evidence enough. #CFC

I don’t care if Baba Rahman isn’t ready. He can’t possibly be worse. Ivanovic is averaging a mistake or two a game leading to goals. #CFC — Chelsea FC (@Chelseafc_life) September 29, 2015
