Man Utd: De Gea pens new contract and thanks fans for “unconditional support”
Manchester United number 1 goalkeeper David de Gea has thanked to his fans for their “unconditional support” after signing a new four-year contract at Old Trafford until 2019.
The Spain international has finally committed his future by penning a new 4-yr deal, just 10 days after his subjected move to the La Liga giants Real Madrid fell through.
On Twitter, the 24-year-old wrote: “I feel proud to announce that I’ll continue with you and @manutd. Thanks for your unconditional support!”
De Gea is yet to feature in a single competitive game for the Red Devils this season, but could return in first team this Saturday, when United to face Liverpool at Old Trafford.
