Arsenal’s Wojceich Szczesny is wanted by Roma?
Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly wanted on loan by the Italian giants AS Roma, as per Daily Mail report.
The Poland international has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea last month and it is understood that Szczesny won’t be able to make regular appearances with the Gunners in the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old has established himself as the North Londoners number one at the start of last season, but due to an array of mistakes saw him lose his place to the Colombian shot-stopper David Ospina as their first-choice keeper for the rest of the season.
However, the Giallorossi are currently on the lookout for a new keeper and are said to be keen on signing Szczesny on a permanent basis, but they are unable to match Arsenal’s valuation of the keeper.
Here’s the best reactions from Arsenal fans to Szczesny’s rumoured move to Roma:
Szczęsny v Ospina is the worst competition ever. Every time one plays, it makes the other look better.

A loan move will do Szczesny good imo… A full season in a different League = Useful. Also great for Ospina to not be ‘Binned’ off! #AFC

Szczesny on a loan is brilliant..Ospina doesn’t deserve to leave after 1 season & Szczesny getting more playing time will help him #positive

Be sad to see Szczesny sold for good. Hope he improves with a loan.
