Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has expressed his delight after the Catalans booked their place in the Copa del Rey final, which will takes place on May 30 against Athletic Bilbao.

With a dramatic 3-1 win on Wednesday night handed the Blaugrana a 6-2 aggregate victory over Villarreal in the semis, and the 30-year-old is delighted to still be competing for success in three competitions.

“We’re very happy, now we can focused on the other two competitions,” the Spaniard told reporters as quoted by Goal.com.

“Reaching a final is something to be proud of. We are always expected to reach finals but it is actually very hard.

“Athletic will be very difficult in the final. The Santiago Bernabeu would be a great stadium to play at in the final, but the important thing is that we’re in the final and trying to win it.”

The La Liga giants Barcelona will now turn their focus to face the European champions Real Madrid on Sunday at Rayo Vallecano.
