Yaya Toure signs new Man City deal

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has signed a new one-year deal at the Etihad Stadium.

Earlier this week, it had been announced that the Ivorian and his agent had been negotiating fresh terms at City, with his previous contract expiring in the summer.

However, the Sky Blues have now confirmed that the 34-year-old will remain at the club for at least another year.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to lock horns with Manchester United over the signature of Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who only signed a new five-year contract with Spurs last September, but recent statement from the left-back suggested that he could be ready to seek options away from the White Hart Lane before the start of the 2017-18 campaign.


Man City midfielder Jesus Navas departs

Manchester City have announced the departure of midfielder Jesus Navas after four years in the North-West.

The 31-year-old was one of a number of players who are running out of contract this summer, but it had been reported that he may remain at the Etihad Stadium due to his performance at right-back and further down the flank.
