Twitter reacts to Lionel Messi’s shock return to international football
The Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi made a surprising return to international football just two months after the striker appeared to have retired from his Argentinean career.
The 29-year-old scored a long-range strike minutes before half-time and his stunning goal earned Argentina a 1-0 win against Uruguay in their World Cup qualifying campaign on Thursday night.
Messi is so good, he even scores after he retires.

Messi defines the art of football in many ways. He’s productive and clinical yet entertaining all at the same time. Ticks every box.
