Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has committed his long-term future by signing a new four-year contract at the West Midlands outfit.

After a disastrous 2015-16 campaign, the youngster was strongly linked with a move away from the Championship club, but it has now been confirmed that the 20-year-old has extended his stay at the Villans until 2020.

The England Under-21 international, who will turn 21 on Saturday – was on the substitutes’ bench for most of the time during Remi Garde’s reign but since the arrival of Roberto Di Matteo, the midfielder has started in one of the club’s fixtures.

Grealish has made five appearances for the England Under-21 side.
