The La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly interested in a shock summer move for Barcelona forward Neymar, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

The mega rich club Real Madrid are said to be on the lookout for world class players every summer and with talisman striker Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the summer, Los Blancos President Florentino Perez is hopeful to have put the tabs to sign the next ‘Galactico’.

The report has suggested that Real madrid want to lure the 23-year-old winger away from Camp Nou, offering the player a yearly salary of £10.5m.

The Brazil international – who joined the Spanish champions from Santos in 2013 – has scored 70 goals in 109 appearances for the Blaugrana over the past three season, also won the treble last season.

Neymar, whose current contract with the La Liga leaders is valid until 2018, expressed his desire to sign a new deal at the club earlier this week.

The South American has scored 46 goals in 69 appearances for his country Brazil since making his debut in 2010.
