Twitter reacts to the Netherlands Euro qualification failure
The Netherland have failed to qualify for the 2016 European Championships after a 3-2 defeat at home to the Czech Republic on Wednesday morning.
The former Manchester United star Robin van Persie came off the bench in the first half and scored an outrageous own goal as the Oranje lost 3-2 and failed to qualify for a major tournament since the 2002 World Cup.
The Twittersphere hasn’t been kind to the Netherland, who finished third at the 2015 World Cup in Brazil.
Robin Van Persie just scored an own goal. I’m saying nothing – I’m merely giving you that information.
