Man United make approach for Harry Kane

Manchester United have reportedly made a bid to sign Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane, according to the Daily Star.
The England international is valued at around £40m but the north Londoners rejected the offer for their star man after it was made last week.
Earlier today, Sky Sports claimed that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out any rumours that Kane would be leaving the White Hart Lane this summer and insisted that the forward is excited about this year’s campaign.
But, the Red Devils still have some hope of acquiring the 22-year-old, who finished as the Premier League’s highest goalscorer Englishman with 21 goals last season.
United boss Louis van Gaal is desperate to acquire a new world-class centre-forward before the summer transfer window closes, as the Dutchman only has three established strikers at Old Trafford with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, and James Wilson.
