The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to the Blues after failing to secure a permanent deal with Manchester United, where he scored only four goals in 26 appearances. The announcement bring plenty of excitement among football fans and here’s how Twitter users reacted to Falcao’s move to Stamford Bridge:
People saying Jose Mourinho is the only man to bring back Falcao. Why couldn’t he do the same with Fernando Torres? — IU (@IconicUnited) June 16, 2015
If there is ONE MAN who can bring back Falcao to his best striking days, it’s the #SpecialOne. He’ll bang them in for, @ChelseaFC. #BOOM

I’ll tell you what this Falcao signing is. It’s a desperation by Mourinho to prove LVG wrong so people will say he ‘turned Falcao round’. — Hayley B (@Hayles_101) June 16, 2015
Chelsea signing Falcao so Cuadrado has someone to talk to on the bench.

Mourinho will save Falcao’s career and get him back to his peak like he did with Kaka and Torres — Hussain (@TheGreatCheema) June 16, 2015
From Torres and Ba to Falcao and Costa. The Mourinho effect.
