Manchester City are ready to offer Joe Hart a new long-term contract with the current Premier League champions, according to the Mirror.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has been given assurances that he is seen as the club’s No.1 at the Etihad.

The reports has suggested that the decisions have been made by their manage Manuel Pellegrini, assuring that the England international remains the first-choice keeper, who is ready to get a pay rise to £150,000-per-week in a five-year deal.

Hart joined City in 2006 from Shrewsbury Town, since then he has made 259 appearances in all competitions.
