Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has raised speculation that he could join the Gunners by posting a cryptic message along with a picture of himself on a private jet on Instagram.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Premier League giants – Arsenal and Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

So far, Arsenal appears relatively quiet in this summer transfer market, with only having the acquisition of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

It is understood that, the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on a striker and potentially a defensive midfielder.
