Manchester United are desperate to sign Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller but the Premier League giant accept that the Bavarians will not allow him to depart for Old Trafford this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News’ James Robson.

The German international has been linked with a move to the Red Devils ever since Louis van Gaal was appointed as manager of the English club.

However, yesterday, it was reported that the Red Devils will offer the 25-year-old a stunning €60m package.

But, Bayern Munich’s CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisted that the forward is not for sale, as reported by Goal.
