The Brazilian defender Fabinho, who has been strongly linked with Barcelona earlier this season - has penned a new four-year deal with AS Monaco which will keep him at Stade Louis II until June 2019.
The Ligue 1 outfit have signed the 21-year-old full-back on a permanent contract from the Portuguese club Rio Ave.
The defender has been on loan at the Stade Louis II since from the last two seasons, scoring two goals in 48 appearances for the French club this season.
